Knowledgebase Categories

Before you can add a knowledgebase article, you'll first need to have a category for it!

  1. Click the 'Knowledgebase' menu link.
  2. Click the icon next to 'Categories'.
  3. Fill in the fields as below:

    » 'Name' - Category title - displayed in 'Knowledgebase' dropdown on navigation bar.
    » 'Slug' - This is the last segment of the URL for this category. E.g. a slug of 'billing' will give a category URL of http://yoursm.com/kb/cat/billing/ - this should always be without spaces - letters, numbers and underscores/dashes only.
    » 'Public' - This is currently un-used. In future, you will be able to show KB articles inside CC for your customers.
  4. Click 'Add'.

To edit an existing category, click the button, make your desired changes, and click the button to save.

To delete an existing category, click the button
